Speed dating comes about when people go to a speed dating place looking for someone who could be a good match for them. This lets in a really fast meeting with a lot of different people and you check if there is someone there who you might be well-matched with.
Speed dating is when a lot of women and men sit at tables. A woman and a man will sit at each table for a fixed time period. It may be two minutes or ten minutes depending on the speed dating place you are at.
During this time period, the two will ask one another questions and get to know a bit about one another. They have the chance to rapidly get a scan on each person and determine if they are someone they might be interested in getting to know a bit better after.
Once the time is up then the women or the men will proceed to the next table and talk to a different person.
After each of the couples have got together and talked to each other they will give the numbers of the people or say which people they are interested in. If both people indicate an interest then they have the possibility to communicate and go out together.
During the speed dating procedure while couples are at the table they may exchange information with each other as well, if they hit it off immediately.
Speed dating is not for everyone but a few people really like meeting new people and discovering a date this way. A lot of people like this way as they get to cope with the people in person and talk with them instead of online dating or by going on a blind date.
It is said that if there is chemistry between the two people then it is instantly acknowledged during a speed dating session.
